Apple Cider Vinegar Diet Discover Why Anything Thats Put On Your Skin Will Never Cure Your Acne.

When it comes to clearing our skin and doing away with acne, we're all pretty much caught up in the same cycle of treatment. We wash our face and hands religiously and do what we can to never let our hands come anywhere near our face. We use expensive "acne treatment systems" to get rid of pimples and stop them before they start. We use laundry detergents and soaps for sensitive skin that don't have any fragrances added in the hopes that they won't aggravate our skin. And what do we get?

Breakouts. Pimples. Acne.

We jump through all these hoops and still agonize every morning at the new white heads and wonder if our skin will ever get clear. I know the feeling because I used to be right there. Every single day following complex rituals and every single day still having tons of pimples all over my skin. Some days I was so depressed I could barely leave the house to go to work or class at night. And I was almost 24 at this time; my acne was supposed to be long gone! I was supposed to have grown out of this by now. I was beginning to wonder if I had any hope at all.

I mean here I had been putting all sorts of crap on my face for nearly a decade. I tried everything from oxy pads and proactiv to all natural honey and apple cider vinegar. I dipped my face in steaming hot bowls of water and soaked it in jojoba oil and castor oil. I used retinols and almost went crazy at how itchy they made me face. I put tons of different things on my skin with the dire hope that something, anything would just help with my acne.

If you've had a similar experience to my own, then you know that some things did help but most didn't. And the ones that did help weren't really that great of an improvement anyways. I mean, there were times I was nearly in tears because I thought I was just stuck this way hoping that maybe someday I would just grow out of it.

To this day I cannot remember what search string I used on google. The only thing I do know is that I had started looking more into natural treatments for acne; things like baking soda, apple cider vinegar and the like. But I came across a few different people describing acne as a strictly internal problem, that our acne problems were a direct result of complications inside our body.

At first glance, this pretty ridiculous to me. I mean, I had oily skin and my pimples were clearly right there on my skin. They were nowhere near the inside of my body at all. But after more and more reading, it started to make a lot more sense. For instance, did you know when your insulin levels get too high; it causes the oil glands in your skin to make too much oil? Or that the acne bacteria exist naturally on everyone's skin? I had never heard of such things!

The more I read, the more it started to make much more sense. Essentially, the internal workings of our bodies lead directly to breakouts. Insulin, hormones called androgens and even our immune systems are interact in a dance that leads to acne. Basically, we eat processed foods. These foods cause spikes in our insulin levels to deal with the excess sugar now in our bloodstream, causing the aforementioned excess production of oil. Also, the insulin surge now causes our blood sugar levels to drop very quickly, causing a release of androgens. These androgens cause even more oil to be produced as well as cause a thickening and drying of our skin. I don't think I need to point out to you the significance of excess dead skin and oil on an acne prone person's face.

On and on this cycle goes for years and decades. Now I know some of you will point out that many of your friends eat crappy, greasy food all the time and have fantastic skin. Sure that's completely true. But they will also have other health problems: migraines and frequent headaches, constant colds and illnesses or maybe they have great skin but are overweight. Everyone is different. We just got the short end of the stick because everyone can see when we're sick.

Other people are going to point out that they have been eating very healthy foods and they still have acne. The problem with this line of thought is that you've been eating terribly for years if not decades. You have been eating healthy for weeks and months. It takes time to reset the body and help bring it back to its health. But there is a very powerful way that will very rapidly restore your body back to its healthy self and do away with your acne. It's so powerful, in fact, that after 2 weeks, my breakouts had completely stopped. In 3 weeks, you would have no idea that less than a month before, I was agonizing over my skin. And this was cystic and nodular acne, mind you. Not the 1 pimple that happens to the kids in the commercials.

Simply put, that method is fasting. There are several different types of fasts you can follow, in fact such as eating only 1 type of food like apples to drinking fresh pressed juices. The Master Cleanse/Lemonade Diet would be a type of fast to fall into this category as well. In each instance, by forgoing food, you free up tons of energy within the body that normally would go to digestion. Since the body has all this extra energy, it is now able to deal directly with health problems that it had "put off" in the past. Personally, I opted for a 7 day juice fast as it was the fastest method of clearing acne.

I'm not going to lie; it sucked. But only for the first 2 days. The second day was pretty rough and my body adjusted to not eating solid food. You feel like you're sick and lack energy. But by the third afternoon, I was feeling pretty normal and by the fourth day, I felt incredible and had tons of energy. And like I said, after that, my acne had completely disappeared for good. As of writing this right now, it's been over 4 years now and I no longer worry about my acne one bit. Sure, I have gotten literally 1 or 2 pimples here and there, but that happens maybe 3-4 times a year.

But imagine no cleansing rituals every morning and night. No worrying about touching your skin or wondering if you need to wash your pillow cases. No buying expensive products. And most of all, no acne!
